About the Job:

Primary Job Function:

Assesses customers' needs, develops and presents HVAC replacement/upgrade proposals, secures sales that are competitive and profitable, processes orders and works with company teammates to ensure customer satisfaction. This position will work with new and existing customers to guide them through the Sales Process while exploring equipment and financing options.

Responsibilities:

Keep appointments with customers as scheduled. Inform the sales coordinator of any changes to schedule.
Inform customers of all special promotions, the benefits of high efficiency equipment and optional equipment and products.
Present a proposal at the time of the first call if possible.
Ability to communicate value, address resistance and close sales.
Give sales presentations, as outlined in company selling process.
Follow up no later than three days after leaving an estimate.
Turn in all required paperwork to the Sales Coordinator within 24 hours of the customer signing the contract. This includes a picture of the job and all necessary notes, drawings etc., to adequately communicate the job to the operations department.
Be available to answer questions that may arise.
Fill out the required information on the permits forms as well as perform a manual J heat load calculation.
Provide all equipment and electrical information on the permit applications.
Enter all equipment and materials on the dispatch ticket and assign the call to the appropriate date.
Maintain company expected closing ratio and expected average ticket.
Conduct daily activities with the highest level of honesty and integrity and always displaying a positive attitude toward fellow Team Members.

Performance Indicators:

Certain key business indicators will measure the effectiveness of the Comfort Consultant position. Annual salary raises of percent increases must meet or exceed the following.

Frequency of meeting target revenue goals, closing ratios and expected average ticket.
Customer satisfaction.
Consistently strive for referrals on all jobs, within 12 months 10% of the Comfort Consult leads should be generated by referrals.
Up-sell, high efficiency equipment related jobs should equal 25% of the individual Comfort Consultants totals within the completed company provided training courses.
